ADMISSION (TERMS & CONDITIONS)

Eligibility for Admission:

I. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

•  Class 10+2 passed in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks.
•  The student must attain the minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission and maximum age limit is 25 years.
•  Admission will be based on marks scored in 10+2 and performance in the Personal Interview.
•  Candidate shall have to be medically fit.

II. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing

•  Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) with a minimum of 2 years of experience after registration.
•  Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of 45% marks.
•  No maximum age limit.

III. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing)

•  Class 10+2 passed in Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English) with a minimum of 45% marks.
•  The student must attain the minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission.
•  Admission will be based on marks scored in 10+2 and performance in the Personal Interview.
•  Candidate shall have to be medically fit.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

• Prospectus cum Application form will be available in the Institute w.e.f. 1st May every year onwards.
•  Prospectus cum Application form can be downloaded from our website in PDF format after making an online payment of ₹1000/-. Application can be filled up through online mode.
•  Registration fees are Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand Only) which is non-refundable.
•  The candidate has to submit the duly filled application form with all requisite documents to the office during the working hours (9:00 am – 4:00 pm) on or before 15th May.
•  Submission of incomplete application form will be rejected.
•  If a candidate is found to have furnished false information or certificate etc. or to have concealed any information needed in his/her application, his/her candidature for admission & selection will be cancelled. Fee deposited by him/her shall be forfeited.

Admission Mode:

•  Admission can be done both offline and online mode.
•  Candidates can submit their application form either online through our website or offline by visiting our office.

Online Admission Process:

• Candidates who choose to apply online can submit their application form through our website.
•  Payment of registration fees and other charges can be made online through the "Pay Fee Online" & "Apply Now" section of our website.

Selection Process:

• GNM: Based on entrance exam, personal interview cum merit.
•  Post Basic B.Sc.Nursing: Based on personal interview cum merit.
•  B. Sc. Nursing: Based on entrance exam, personal interview cum merit.

Documents Required:

• Passport size photo - 02 nos.
•  Original Class 10 Admit card, Mark sheet, and Pass certificate - (2 nos each xerox).
•  Original Class 12 Admit card, Mark sheet, and Pass certificate - (2 nos each xerox).
•  Original Mark sheet and course completion certificate in Auxiliary Nursing & Midwifery from the Nursing council (applicable for ANM candidates only). (2 nos xerox).
•  Original Migration Certificate from the respective board last studied.
•  Aadhaar card and Pan Card. (2 nos each Xerox).
•  Original Indigenous inhabitant certificate/Domicile certificate/Schedule Caste/Tribe certificate from the Government authority. (2 nos each Xerox).

Medical Test for Selected Candidates:

• Selected candidates will have to undergo all admission formalities including Medical Examination, and only the medically fit candidates will be granted admission.
•  The selected candidates are required to submit original Medical Fitness Certificate duly signed from a registered Medical Officer.
•  The selected candidate has to submit the original test reports of the following investigations:

 

           1. CBC (Complete Blood Count)

           2. Chest X-Ray

           3. Urine test

           4. Blood group
